The bio-cartridges feature a removable filter sponge that provides ideal settlement conditions for beneficial cleaning bacteria, ensuring strong biological filtration. For chemical filtration, the 3D activated charcoal cartridges effectively remove unwanted pollutants and are especially recommended after medication treatments or during the initial setup of an aquarium. Each device includes at least one large biofilter cartridge with a volume of 240 cm, with additional cartridges depending on the model. Extra 3D activated charcoal cartridges are available separately, along with smaller bio-cartridges designed for various applications.
